Design, develop, build, and test network engineering solutions as part of a team that introduces new technologies and/or improves existing technologies in compliance with established project management processes
Lead major project initiatives and develop configurations using expertise in routing protocols, firewalls, data center protocols, security requirements and network virtualization
Troubleshoot, develop and design network architectures consisting of multilevel access and multilevel security platforms supporting both CONUS and OCONUS sites
Configure, install, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, VOIP systems, video teleconferencing, and various other network and telecommunication components
Analyze and determine corrective action for secure data communications networks
Implement US government COMSEC standards and practices
Understanding and implementation of Tempest standards
Create/modify Microsoft Visio network diagrams
Adapt to changing environments and coordinate large scale implementations using available resourcesWhat You'll Need:

TS/SCI Clearance W/ Ability to obtain Poly
Extensive experience on Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).
Must have configured/used both iBGP and eBGP
Moderate experience on Virtual Extensible LAN (VXLAN) and Ethernet VPN (EVPN)
Moderate experience with Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), EIGRP (which is Cisco proprietary) experience is not a substitute.

Functional understanding of Internet provider/IP transit ecosystem (ie, Tier 1 vs Tier 2 Internet providers - differences)
Functional understanding of Azure networking constructs or their equivalents in other clouds (ie, AWS VPC vs.
Azure VNet):
Examples:
VNets, ExpressRoute, Azure App Gateway (Web Application Firewall, WAF)
Ability to produce detailed engineering documentation:
Network diagramming, rack elevations, routing designs
Applicants must meet DoD 8570.
1 certification requirements for IAT-II or higher
Certifications:
CompTIA Network
or equivalent (CCENT/CCNA - Route/Switch)
Skillsets (optional, nice to have):

Program, install, load, and troubleshoot TACLANE Encryptors
Moderate experience with one or more of:
Palo Alto NGFW (Next Generation Firewalls), F5 BIG-IP (load balancing, Global Traffic Management), Citrix NetScaler (load balancing), Checkpoint NGFW
Security background, firewall configuration and management experience
Traffic engineering experience - ie, peering with multiple Internet carriers, path optimization
Experience with other non-OSPF IGPs (Interior Gateway Protocols) - example:
Intermediate System Intermediate System (IS-IS)
Optical transport knowledge ie, Coherent optics, Multiplexing/DWDM
Design of optical cable plant, testing and commissioning - ie, cabling certification and approaches, demarcation approaches
Experience running service-provider/carrier grade networks - metro and/or long-haul
Design and implementation of complex/multi virtual routing and forwarding (VRF) environments
Design and implementation of complex/multi ExpressRoute circuit designs
Expert-level certifications:
CCNP, CCIE, CISSP
Multiple enterprise network vendor experience (Juniper, Cisco, etc.

Education &
Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in a specialized area or field combined with 8
years of relevant work experience; or Master's Degree combined with 6
years of relevant work experience.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
