Systems Engineer

Systems Engineer Summary: The Systems Engineer will provide engineering expertise while coordinating with multiple program offices, and with various stakeholders in order to understand the environment and implement pilot and prototyping activities for the Navy Maritime Maintenance Enterprise Solution - Technical Refresh (NMMES-TR).   Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)  Analyze and baseline existing COTS / GOTS portfolio as defined in the SRS and SV-8 Support data requirements and deliverables such as Data Dictionary, Data Migration Plan (DMP), and Legacy data migration Analyze legacy data and provide recommendations for data migration tools and technologies Perform data mapping between legacy data and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) Participate in weekly Integrated Project Team (IPT) meetings Evaluate and recommend solutions for migrating legacy data from existing hosting environments and other applicable data sources to the new database repository. Perform trade off analysis of potential COTS solutions for use within the pilot program Analyze user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications Evaluate hardware and software to determine efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing system, and make purchase recommendations     Non-Essential Duties: Performs other duties as assigned   Supervisory Responsibilities: None   Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)  Bachelors Degree and 3 years of experience or 5+ years of relevant Experience Experience with SQL and database technologies SECRET security clearance   Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong working experience in all phases of the SDLC, and EW data analysis/library products to support automated test tool development is strongly preferred Must be well organized, an effective communicator at multiple levels and able to grasp system concepts and communicate their applications Must be capable of quickly learning new systems and associated software applications for proficient execution of tasks Ability to work closely and cooperatively with fellow workers Effective communication and time management  Diversity: Shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; Educates others on the value of diversity; Promotes a harassment-free environment; Builds a diverse workforce.   Ethics: Treats people with respect; Keeps commitments; Inspires the trust of others; Works with integrity and ethically; Upholds organizational values. 1800004039

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
