Sr Analyst, MDM

Summary: The Senior Analyst, Master Data Management (MDM) will educate the team on MDM best practices and leading in solution recommendations. The Senior Analyst, MDM will provide engineering expertise while coordinating with multiple program offices, and various stakeholders in order to understand the environment and implement pilot and prototyping activities for the Navy Maritime Maintenance Enterprise Solution - Technical Refresh (NMMES-TR).   Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position) Define strategies and develop/deliver solutions and processes for managing enterprise-wide data throughout the data lifecycle from capture to processing to usage across all layers of the application architecture Liaison among stakeholders, team members, and IT to understand the relevant data and processes required to achieve the MDM business objectives. Serve as technical team lead in the development of logical/physical models for relational and dimensional schema Establish Master Data Management guidelines, procedures and definitions for US Navy Master Data Domains Maintain reference architecture for the purposes of architectural governance and application roadmap. Set up, manage and lead Data Governance and Data/Application Steward programs Design develop, and implement Master Data Domain models Populate initial Master Data models with data from existing source data systems Ensure that data definitions and management principles are standardized and harmonized across master data domains. Analyze conceptual, logical and physical data models and document business concepts, data entities, data elements and the relationship between them. Monitor master data against the currently used data in various business processes to identify the gaps, discrepancies and the opportunities to further improve quality of master data. Ensure high data quality and limit risk of business process interruptions, while improving process and system effectiveness. Establish MDM KPI's to establish transparency and performance objectives in quality, productivity and integration readiness, based on industry standards.   Non-Essential Duties: Performs other duties as assigned   Supervisory Responsibilities: None   Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.) Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management or related filed with an emphasis on data and databases required, Master's preferred. Equivalent extensive relevant work experience may be used in lieu of Degree 8+ years of experience required Experience in Data Governance and Administration Experience in both agile and waterfall Experience in all phases of the SDLC, and EW data analysis/library products to support automated test tool development is strongly preferred Master Data Management solution implementation and management experience SECRET security clearance   Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Advanced knowledge of cloud-based data strategies, NoSQL, SQL, Data Warehouse, ETL, Business Intelligence and Analytics tools Must be well organized, an effective communicator at multiple levels and able to grasp system concepts and communicate their applications Quickly assimilate into a team environment with the client. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
