Business Development Analyst

Summary: The Business Development Analyst must have a proven track record of conducting successful capture campaigns in pursuit of DoD and Civil agency opportunities; understand the business development process and environment, the tools used to identify and qualify new opportunities, and proposal development. The Business Development Analyst will conduct capture campaigns, identify new business opportunities, cultivate and maintain strategic relations (customers and teammates) and diversify the business portfolio.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position) Work closely with President to plan, design and implement business plans to include vision, strategies and tactics Establish, usher, lead and manage capture teams and efforts inclusive of developing capture plans, organizing capture teams, and managing progress through bid, no-bid to proposal submission Draft and respond to sources sought, requests for information and potential customer data/capabilities request Assist in building the Business Development (BD) budget to include all Bid and Proposal budgets Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities that build pipeline; Initiate, participate in, support and manage where appropriate, proposal development efforts Develop new customer and teaming relationships, foster existing ones and effectively execute the process for NDAs and Teaming Agreements Collaborate with Market Intelligence Team to monitor and research external and internal sources that enable the identification and qualification of new business opportunities Participate/coordinate in teaming negotiations, strategic alliances and other external business relationships Interface continuously with Strategic Business Unit (SBU) business development and market intelligence tools/assets (GovWin) Standardize and maintain CDS BD/Operations SharePoint sites Ensure subsidiary compliance with MIOSSharePoint configuration and standards Collect, cultivate and disseminate knowledge of application-usage best practices Non-Essential Duties: Other duties as assigned   Supervisory Responsibilities: None   Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.) Bachelor's degree is required 5 years of experience in Business Development Experience in federal government contracting environment is preferred.   Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge in SharePoint2007 through 2013 Understanding of GOVWIN/CRM and CorasWorks. Ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines in a timely manner and manage constantly shifting priorities. Independent judgment to determine project guidelines, purpose, follow-through and completion. Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with team members, company departments and external customers Ability to obtain Secret clearance. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
