Accounting Information System Administrator

The Accounting Information System Administrator (AISA) is responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, and supporting a company's computer systems and software used in and interfacing with the Accounting Department. The AISA must be able to fix/repair, install, move, add, and modify all Windows platforms, systems, files, and directories related to the Accounting Department. The AISA must load baseline software, support user accounts, and access configurations. The AISA is also responsible for providing basic help desk support and serves as a liaison for all system and IT related inquiries between Accounting and other departments by performing, managing, and coordinating action items and due dates. The AISA is responsible for maintaining GL Account hierarchies, assisting in bolstering the internal control environment through application security and SOD controls, and partnering withinternal teams to define and implement solutions that improve accounting and reporting processes.    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Perform system/software configuration, implementation and automation. Analyze, isolate, and resolve any configuration, implementation and integration issues Maintain and enhance system efficiency Manage project timeline with action plans and due dates Maintain access control and site security Maintain network and system security and make recommendations for future upgrades Monitor networks to ensure appropriate security levels and availability for individual users Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services Maintain network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways, and intrusion detection systems Utilize SQL coding to provide financial data for internal and external financial reporting Evaluate data gathered from multiple sources, identify gaps, reconcile conflicts and deconstruct high-level information into details to drive decision-making Maintain highest levels of development practices including technical design, solution development, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution, and writing clean, modular and self-sustaining code Provide end user support for all systems Develop, design, and deploy end user training Perform various administrative duties including correspondence and document management. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.    Education/Experience: 4 Year BA/BS in accounting and/or information systems required 3-5 years' work experience or technical certification(s) Language Ability: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required GP Experience - especially features of newer versions(Smartconnect, Etc.) IT Technical Savy - SQL & others Strong Oral and Written communication Ability to write complex correspondences. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondences, and memos is necessary Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business memos, including financial data Math Ability: This position requires advanced business math skills, which includes the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and detail-orientation in producing financial statements.  Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical and complex accounting system problems and deal with a variety of situations and people Strong analytical/decision-making skills and organizational skills The AISA must also possess strong interpersonal skills Computer Skills: Excellent personal computer literacy in Microsoft Office is required, with proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and other appropriate software; experience in Great Plains, Host Analytics, and Concur with advanced proficiency in Excel Knowledge of ERP systems administration a plus especially in Great Plains Physical Demands: This position may require long hours of sitting and using office equipment and computers. There may also be extensive lifting of supplies and materials. The use of hands and arms to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects is required. Special Requirements/Certification: Comptia A+/MCTS/other related Certification highly preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
