Five Rivers Services is an IT service provider supporting federal and Department of Defense customers around the world with full-spectrum communications, IT, multimedia, security, and training capabilities.   Mid-Level Systems Administrator at Ft. Belvoir, VA.     Our successful candidate will perform all Systems Administrator duties providing direct support to enterprise networked systems and managing Microsoft server infrastructure solutions across multiple solution areas in a DoD enterprise environment.   What you'll be doing: Install, administer, and maintain Windows servers, workstations, desktops, laptops, and basic cabling, etc., as part of the overall systems architecture across multiple networks and locations; strong understanding of and experience with Active Directory. Install, administer and maintain virtual environments and physical hosts as well as storage devices (NAS, SAN). Administer Active Directory services, member servers and storage, integrate new technologies into new and existing systems, including the transition and migration of enterprise systems. Determine isolation and resolution of complex hardware and software problems involving the application, the operating system, the hardware, the communications infrastructure, and/or any combination thereof. Perform account maintenance, data integrity, and file system security for the desktop environment. Utilize manual checks, GUI-based, and command line tools (PowerShell) to troubleshoot and remediate basic to complex systems hardware, software, and configuration issues on assigned systems, networks, Active Directory. Implement, and manage disaster recovery and COOP plans, systems, and operations. Basic network troubleshooting in support of the datacenter and workstation/LAN connectivity. Collect, review, and store server log files to identify and remediate system issues. Document system configurations and propose and/or implement system changes. Apply security patches, IAVAs, STIGS, and updates (including operating system updates) for all assigned systems. Assist Service Desk technicians as needed with Tier I and Tier II troubleshooting and patching of desktop systems, software (MS Office, Java, Adobe), printer issues, and server related issues as needed Mentor, lead, and train junior technicians as directed. Participate in or lead special projects and day?to?day operations as needed or assigned by the site lead, and clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.   Qualifications   Minimum Qualifications:   An active DoD TS/SCI security clearance. High School diploma/GED with 8+ years of relevant experience, OR relevant Associate's degree with 8+ years of experience, OR relevant Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience. Currently possess DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II - Must have one of the following: CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ ce, SSCP. Our preferred qualifications: Skills related to MCSA: Windows 10 and/or MCSA: Server 2012/2016 will be required to be successful in this job (actual certifications preferred Large Enterprise-level IT experience with storage devices (SAN, NAS), Exchange, Webservers/SQL, HBSS, or ACAS. Knowledge of IT service desk requirements and the ability to complete difficult and complex assignments independently (i.e., with minimal assistance) with ability to provide over the phone troubleshooting. Experience working with demanding high ranking customers and staff. Experience with BMC Remedy IT Service Management software. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
