TASC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineering Architect to work in Lorton, VA.
A qualified candidate will provide knowledge, experience, and advice relating to the architecture of traditional and cloud systems within the Department of Defense. Understands the government's current approaches to cloud platforms and cloud computing. Recommends and implements approaches for migrating existing capabilities to a cloud platform and for developing new software for a cloud platform. This includes options identification and tradeoff analyses of various components, frameworks, and schemas to achieve a desired mission capability. Has broad experience across technical implementations, organizational environments, and missions. Responsible for helping to architect cross domain solutions including low to high, high to low and laterally.Basic
Qualifications:
Active/current Secret is required, TS or TS SCI is desired.
B.S. Degree in relevant field required (Master's Degree in relevant field is highly desired).

year's of relevant experience is required.
INSCOM experience with cloud system baselines, such as Red Disk, GHOSTMACHINE, and IC Gov Cloud (IC-ITE) and associated software stacks including Accumulo is required.
Experience with cloud efforts at other government agencies, such as the National Security Agency, Army, Navy, and FBI is required.
Experience working directly with the stakeholders, helping to refine requirements and translate back-and-forth between requirements and software features is desired.
Experience with installation and maintenance of infrastructure to support both deliverables (i.e. build cloud for a customer) and internally for the team (i.e. build development servers). Also Cross Domain Solution implementation is highly desired.
Ability to perform tradeoff and options analyses of cloud systems architecture and components including:
Ingest - approaches for efficiently parsing, normalizing, canonicalizing, and tagging data is desired.
Storage - strategies and schemas for efficiently storing extremely large quantities of data is desired.
Query - methods and limitations for retrieving specific data once it's been stored is desired.
Data Analytics - general knowledge of batch and streaming analytics, their uses, and their applications.
Visualization - techniques for displaying knowledge extracted from large quantities of information is desired.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
