Inova Lorton Healthplex ED is looking for a Registered Nurse, Fellow to join our team
This position is ideal for Experienced Nurses looking to change specialties. (Strongly prefer RNs with at least one year of experience in an acute and/or critical care setting). Required to go through & complete an Emergency Fellowship upon start.
Schedule: Part-time, Mid Shift (1p-1a and 11am-11pm hours)

Job
Summary:
- Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.
- Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.
- Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes
- Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.
Requirements:
Requires a minimum of twelve months of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
- Strongly prefer 2 years plus of Acute or Critical RN experience
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
- If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of start date.
- Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required
- CEN/ACLS certification desired
- Proficient in English. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others
- Proficient computer skills required.
