Responsibilities:
Quality DME is seeking a talented and motivated Medical Billing Specialist and Customer Service Representative to fulfill a vital role within our Billing Team to help us achieve critical financial goals and ensure the future growth of our company.
Core responsibilities include:
Submitting insurance claims Submitting and working insurance authorizations Working insurance claim denials Working accounts receivables Processing patient invoices/statements and patient payments Posting patient and insurance payments Assisting patients with billing-related questions or requests Other
Responsibilities:
Fulfillment of special projects as directed by the Billing Manager Continuing education of six (6) hours per year, offered by the company Sharing your thoughts and ideas on how to improve the Billing Team Role Requirements:
Highly organized with an attention to detail Cordial and helpful disposition with customer service Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Experience or ability to learn EMR systems, cloud-based software, e-fax, etc.
Adherence to laws and best practices in regards to dealing with patient data Proficiency in verbal and written communication in English Ability to type at least 40 words per minute at 90%
