ObjectiveResponsiveTrustedSPA advises and assists the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) on the development, test and fielding of leading edge technologies to counter weapons of mass destruction (WMD)DTRA delivers these game-changing technologies to warfighters across all Combatant Commands (CCMDs) including the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM)SPA provides expertise to deter, deny or defeat chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and high-yield explosives (CBRNE) threatsSPA subject matter experts (SMEs) also advise on technologies designed to support threat understanding, detection, identification, and characterization; protection of military and civilian populations and consequence management#CJ #I This internship is primarily in office work, some local travel and occasional telework allowedTimeline for intern selection:

o Interviews will conclude by 13 December 2023, with offers/decisions within two weeks of interviewResponsibilities We are seeking a smart, energetic, and dedicated individual who is actively pursuing a Masters or PhD degree in Computer or Data Science, Integrative Sciences, Learning and Organizational Change, Organizational Management/Leadership, or another STEM field to work alongside a SPA mentor in support of DTRA Research & Development programs concerning Advanced ResearchThe successful intern will be a quick learner and key contributor to analysis, projects, presentations and discussionsOur office is located in Lorton, VA, convenient to our DTRA clients at Fort BelvoirQualifications The ideal intern will:
o Enrolled in a Masters or PhD program in Computer or Data Science, Integrative Sciences, Learning and Organizational Change, Organizational Management/Leadership, or another STEM fieldo Articulate a willingness to learn program/organizational processes and procedureso Demonstrate creative thinking and strong problem solving skillso Possess strong leadership, communications, and organizational skillso Offer the ability to delve into technical details and translate those into findings and recommendations.
o Experienced with tools such as neo4J, OrientDB, Azure Cosmos, etcto explore inter and intra organizational relationships, data patterns, and project relationships to capture clarity, improve collaboration, and streamline projectso Experienced with commercial efficiencies in client relationships, product hierarchies, supply chains, etc.
o Be capable of quickly obtaining and maintaining an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearanceo Must be a US Citizen Recommended Skills Biology Change Management Communication Coordinating Creativity Curiosity Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
