THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic Director of Marketing.
This role will oversee strategic market leadership, product and brand marketing management, paid marketing campaigns, internal content production, and digital asset management.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a creative marketer, and a results-oriented leader who can drive innovative marketing initiatives, enhance brand visibility, and secure new business opportunities through effective RFP responses and tradeshow participation.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing Leadership:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with organizational goals, drive brand awareness, and contribute to business growth.
Provide visionary leadership to the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Oversee the development and delivery of a wide variety of marketing and presentation materials for use at all levels of the organization, including our Senior Leadership team and Board of Directors.
Product and Brand Marketing Management:
Develop and execute comprehensive product and brand marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and product adoption Create and manage integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, email, and traditional advertising Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and design, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.
Tradeshow Management:
Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all aspects of tradeshow participation, from pre-event planning to post-event analysis.
Develop strategies to maximize the impact of tradeshows, including booth design, collateral development, and promotional activities.
Manage relationships with tradeshow organizers, negotiate contracts, and ensure optimal positioning and visibility at events.
Paid Marketing Campaigns/Program Marketing Management:
Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive paid marketing campaigns across online, print, radio, social media, and email channels Create and execute data-driven strategies to maximize ROI and reach target audiences effectively Manage advertising budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for optimal campaign performance.
Internal Content Production Management:
Oversee and manage the end-to-end content production process, ensuring high-quality, on-brand, and timely delivery of all marketing content Develop and maintain content production schedules, setting clear milestones and deadlines for content projects Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines.
Digital Asset Management:
Develop and implement a comprehensive digital asset management strategy, ensuring efficient organization and distribution of digital assets across websites, partner websites, and social media platforms Monitor the usage of digital assets and enforce brand guidelines, ensuring that all content aligns with the brand's visual identity and messaging.
RFP Response Management:
Lead the RFP response process, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality submissions.
Conduct thorough analysis of RFP requirements, collaborate with subject matter experts, and craft compelling proposals that address client needs.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with sales, government relations, product, and executive teams to align marketing strategies with business objectives and support sales initiatives.
Communicate marketing strategies, initiatives, and results to key stakeholders, fostering a culture of transparency and collaboration.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a senior marketing role, managing a team of marketing professionals.
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans that drive business results.
Strong track record of successfully responding to RFPs, including experience coordinating and delivering winning proposals Experience with tradeshow management, overseeing the planning, developing strategies, and managing logistics and budgets.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and project management software.
Creative thinker with a proactive and innovative approach to marketing challenges.
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
