Responsibilities:
Provide requirements management support to NSWCDD.
Liaise directly with the Air Command & Control and Sensor Netting Program Management Office and other supporting organizations and services involved with CAC2SActively provide engineering expertise to support integration of new capabilities, both hardware and software intensive, into CAC2S.
Resolve technical challenges with a high degree of analytical expertise and originalityInterface with internal subject matter experts and external stakeholders to ensure system requirements meet warfighter needsDevelop and document system and subsystem specifications using requirements management tools for flow-down to cross-functional teamsWork collectively within a large, geographically separated engineering team to ensure high-quality system deliveryRequired Skills &
Experience:
Five (5) years of experience working programmatic tasks related to Navy combat or weapons systems developmentExperience with recording meeting minutes, capturing and tracking actions items, developing schedules and command strong communications skills both written and oralProficient in Microsoft products and experienced in developing presentations and briefsExperience with PEO IWS Task Planning Sheets, budgeting, tracking and reportingEducation:
A professional engineering degree from a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university in one of the following competency areas:
Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, PhysicsClearance:
A Secret Clearance is required for this position.
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
